Retaining Wall & Hardscape Cleaning
BeforeAfterThe problem
A curved stacked-stone retaining wall around a fountain and planting bed, with heavy moss and algae established along the lower courses and in the joints. Irrigation and the fountain keep this area consistently damp and the planting above shades it, so the moss had a permanent foothold across most of the visible face.
How we approached it
Stacked stone has open joints and sits directly against planting, so this needed care on two fronts: enough dwell time for the solution to kill moss rooted into the joints, and thorough pre-wetting and rinsing of the surrounding bed, fountain and lawn. Pressure was kept moderate — enough to lift dead growth off the stone face without driving material out of the joints.
The result
Natural stone colour visible again across the full run of the wall and the cap, with moss removed from the joints rather than just the faces. In a spot this consistently damp it will re-establish, so this surface benefits from a regular cycle rather than a one-time clean.

What customers say
Habid just finished soft washing outside of house and washing windows including outside porch and banisters. My house is a single story, 1915 CA craftsman's house. I hired him because he I had the option of a non pressurized wash. Because my house is old, I didn't want to use too much pressure. He is meticulous and provided a fair price for all the work he did. No damage at all to the stucco or wood from the washing. It turned out great! I see he does other soft and pressurized cleaning. I will most likely be hiring him again for my sidewalk and brick patios.
